Found in the Options menu on a site page, the new Site Access feature supports pre‑installation workflows where multiple partner organizations need to collaborate on a site before any systems are deployed. This is especially useful for COMPASS XR site surveys and design‑phase activities, where one company may perform early site surveys and planning while another later completes installation and commissioning.
The organization that creates a site is established as the site owner and can grant access to other companies as needed, similar to granting access to an installed system. The new Site Access page lists why each organization has visibility (such as site creation, granted access, or inherited access through installed systems), and allows the site owner to transfer ownership if project responsibility changes. Organizations that receive access to installed systems continue to automatically inherit visibility to the associated site.
This feature enables smoother handoff from survey and design to installation and maintenance, reducing potential rework and ensuring all parties are working from the same site data throughout the project lifecycle.
