Nextivity is pleased to introduce the DAS Design Tool, a powerful new capability built directly into the WAVE Portal that helps partners create professional Nextivity DAS designs faster and with greater confidence. New Feature: DAS Design Tool
The DAS Design Tool enables users to upload floorplans, create site layouts, place system equipment and antennas, visualize expected coverage, route cabling, and generate customer-ready design and bill-of-materials reports—all from within an integrated WAVE Portal workflow.
Designed specifically for CEL-FI and SHIELD solutions, the DAS Design Tool streamlines the planning process by reducing the time, effort, and expense associated with creating system design proposals while improving consistency and BOM accuracy. The result is a faster path from initial opportunity to customer-ready design, helping partners develop professional proposals with ease.
Built around the existing Site and Floorplan structure within the WAVE Portal, the DAS Design Tool brings design activities together with the rest of the project lifecycle. Partners can create and maintain multiple design iterations for a site, evaluate different deployment approaches, visualize anticipated coverage, document equipment placement and cabling paths, and generate professional design and BOM reports to support project planning, customer discussions, and installation preparation.

Other Improvements:
The Ethernet Cable Status view for QUATRA 4000-series and EVO systems now provides additional visual indication of Ethernet cabling issues between the NU and CUs. When a supported fault condition is detected, a warning icon is displayed specifying the particular fault. This new indicator supplements existing alarms and provides technicians with quicker diagnosis of Ethernet-related wiring issues during troubleshooting and maintenance activities. (Requires upcoming firmware release version 42.)
A new LMR Donor Signal Too Low alarm has been added to improve visibility into public safety donor signal conditions. In addition, the existing Donor Antenna Malfunction alarm has been renamed to Signal Source Malfunction, and associated help text has been updated to provide further troubleshooting guidance for both alarm types.
Issues Resolved:
Resolved an issue that prevented SI access approval when a system had a Customer Portal user associated with it but no existing SI associations.
