WAVE App version 1.22 introduces a new and improved Device Lock feature. Now available in the top-left system menu, you will find the option to Lock/Unlock Booster.
The Device Lock feature coordinates with the WAVE Portal to control device configuration access for WAVE App users. While a device is Locked, the WAVE App may connect to the device to view performance data and configuration settings, but may not make changes to the device configuration. While a device is Unlocked, the WAVE App may connect and make configuration changes as normal.
Menu Option: Lock Booster. This will lock the Cel-Fi device. Once locked, configuration changes cannot be made using the WAVE App. The device may only be unlocked via the WAVE Portal. Unlocking the device can be done directly by the Portal if the device is online, or by using a Portal-generated Unlock Code that is entered into the WAVE App. The WAVE App informs the user of the unlock code requirement and prompts for two confirmations from the user before implementing the lock.
Menu Option: Unlock Booster. This will unlock the Cel-Fi device when the WAVE App user enters an appropriate Unlock Code. The WAVE Portal provides the Unlock Code to users who have been granted access to the Cel-Fi system. This code may then be provided for use in the WAVE App. If your device is locked and you do not have WAVE Portal access, please contact your point-of-sale to request an Unlock Code.
