A new software update for NU_PIC will be available to download for QUATRA 1000 & QUATRA 2000 class of products on December 3rd, with the following:
Improvements
- Adds an improvement to QUATRA 1000 and QUATRA 2000 devices to maintain online connectivity with the WAVE Portal for remote monitoring and management as it migrates to TLS 1.2 for improved security.
If automatic software updates are enabled for the QUATRA 1000 and QUATRA 2000 and the system is online, they will be automatically updated by December 10, 2025. Alternatively, they can be manually updated sooner using the WAVE Portal or the WAVE Field Tool after the release date.

Note: Occasionally, a CEL-FI QUATRA 1000 or QUATRA 2000 device may lose WAVE Portal connectivity during a power cycle or software reset. This is not related to the NU_PIC software update and can sometimes happen during normal resets triggered by software updates. There is no impact on coverage, and the system will continue to provide coverage even if the WAVE Portal shows offline. If connectivity doesn’t return right away, simply power cycle the NU, and it will reconnect.
