Release Date: September 18th, 2025
Region: EMEA & APAC
Software Version: v43
A new software update will be available to download for CEL-FI GO G43 on September 18th, 2025, with the following:
New Feature
- A new band and technology selection algorithm option, RelayNrIfPresent, has been added. When enabled, this algorithm ensures that the system prioritizes boosting an available NR channel over boosting a second LTE channel, which is beneficial for networks that configure multiple LTE channels with a higher selection priority than NR.
Improvement
- A randomized backoff mechanism has been implemented for WebSocket Secure (WSS) connection attempts for WAVE Portal. This prevents overload and denial of service caused by too many devices trying to reconnect simultaneously after a WAVE Portal connection restart.
- Capped DL Tx power for Belarus to comply with the 16 dBm limit.
Bug Fixes
- Fixes a bug that caused the system to report non-existent cells (specifically PCI 274) in the WAVE Portal.
- Fixes a decoding bug of NR SIB2 for frequency selection when si-WindowLength is five radio frames, ensuring cell selection correctly follows network priority for any applicable frame lengths.
- Fixed a bug where the repeater stopped boosting 5G NR signals after initial startup for specific networks due to misinterpreting the Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) sequence index.
- Various changes for better performance, stability, and security.
If automatic software updates are enabled for the CEL-FI GO G43, the system will update automatically by October 2nd, 2025.
