Release Date: September 18th, 2025
Region: EMEA & APAC
Software Version: v20
A new software update will be available to download for CEL-FI GO G51 on September 18th, 2025, with the following:
Improvement
- A randomized backoff mechanism has been implemented for WebSocket Secure (WSS) connection attempts for WAVE Portal. This prevents overload and denial of service caused by too many devices trying to reconnect simultaneously after a WAVE Portal connection restart.
- Capped DL Tx power for Belarus to comply with the 16 dBm limit.
- Improvements for devices operating in Egypt to comply with NTRA requirements.
Bug Fixes
- Fixes a bug that resulted in the system reporting non-existent cells (specifically PCI 274) in the WAVE Portal.
- Fixed a bug where the RSRP value for FDD would not correctly update on the WAVE Portal or App.
- Fixes a bug where the device fails to boost NR (n78) due to large SIB1 messages.
- Fixed a bug where the repeater stopped boosting 5G NR signals after initial startup for specific networks due to misinterpreting the Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) sequence index.
- Fixes a decoding bug of NR SIB2 for frequency selection when si-WindowLength is five radio frames, ensuring cell selection correctly follows network priority for any applicable frame lengths.
- Various changes for better performance, stability, and security.
If automatic software updates are enabled for the CEL-FI GO G51, the system will update automatically by October 2nd, 2025. WAVE App users will receive a software update availability prompt when they connect the system to the WAVE App after the release date.
