What configurations are available for SHIELD EXTEND?
SHIELD EXTEND is available in four different radio configurations:
- FirstNet + LMR (700 MHz & 800 MHz)
- LMR (700 MHz & 800 MHz)
- 700 MHz only
- 800 MHz only

No, the NU & CU model configurations are not interchangeable.

Total capacity depends on the number of CUs connected to the NU, the SHILED EXTEND model, and whether 12 or 24 hour backup power is needed.
Can I install multiple SHIELD EXTEND systems in the same location?
Yes, multiple SHIELD EXTEND systems may be installed together to form a more extensive solution, and linked to a single Site address for remote cloud management.
Is SHIELD EXTEND NEMA 4 rated?
All the components of the SHIELD EXTEND solution are NEMA 4X rated once installed. However, during installation or maintenance, appropriate measures must be taken to prevent water or debris damage to open units or cable connections.
Can I interchange the donor antenna ports for LMR and LTE?
The donor antenna ports for LMR and LTE are labeled and are not interchangeable.
Which CEL-FI antennas are approved to use with SHIELD EXTEND?
The approved CEL-FI antenna models are:
