A new software update will be available to download for QUATRA 4000(i/c/e)/EVO(FN) on January 2nd, with the following:
- Improved connection with the WAVE EDGE Server to better support SMART SERVER ANTENNA applications like the Gunshot Detection Service.
- Added software reporting and improved connection stability for SMART SERVER ANTENNA with the Coverage Unit.
- Enhanced messaging from SMART SERVER ANTENNA to CU to NU to WAVE EDGE Server.
- Improved intra- and inter-CU timing synchronization.
- Improvement to the SFP+ LED on NU to flash GREEN when the SFP+ module is installed, but the Fiber Hub link is not up to be more informative.
- Improvement of more secure device timestamp retrieval instead of insecure HTTP to resolve commissioning challenges due to site firewalls.
- Improvement in handling CBRS TDD scan & recovery.
- Improvement to WAVE Portal connection recovery time when the device resets.
- Fixes a bug for the Fiber link to the Hub Lost alarm on the WAVE Portal.
- Fixes a bug where WCDMA enablement relayed overlapping WCDMA and LTE channels when the network uses DSS.
- Fixes a bug in which systems connected via internal modem do not recover the reporting of device state to the WAVE Portal.
- Fixes a bug that resulted in fluctuating donor Port status reporting on device reset.
- Fixes a bug wherein a system is stuck in NR cell search in low SINR scenarios.
- Fixes a bug that resulted in incorrect Path Loss being reported for SMART SERVER ANTENNA from the CU.
- Improves performance and reliability of WAVE Portal & SMART SERVER ANTENNA connectivity.
- Various changes for improved performance and reliability.
If automatic software updates are enabled for the QUATRA 4000(i/c/e)/EVO(FN) and the system is online, they will be automatically updated by January 16th, 2025.
