Release date: June 25, 2025
WAVE Portal version 1.7.7 includes the following:
Improvements:
Site Survey Related
- Improved the Survey Report generation process, which includes two steps: 1) Preparing the selected content and 2) Generating the PDF. Now, once the content is prepared, the user no longer has to wait for step 2 and is instead informed they will receive an email when the report PDF is ready for download.
- Survey Reports can now be generated in A3 or A4 paper sizes, in addition to the default Letter (8.5"x11") size. Additionally, the paper size can be saved in your custom Survey Template settings.
- The Heatmap Analysis page for a Site Survey now includes "All Bands" as an option in the Technology/Band selection, allowing you to assess coverage across all available signals detected for an Operator, rather than only for a specific Radio Technology and Band.
- Site Surveys will now record the timestamp for each Grid Test measurement taken, based on the local time of the phone or tablet running the WAVE PRO App. These measurement-specific timestamps will now appear on the Survey Report generated by the WAVE Portal.
Smart Server Antenna Related
- Smart Server Antennas can now be given names using the Assets list on the System Details page. Click the pencil icon next to the antenna to give it a name. These custom names will also appear on the Site Floorplan page.
- Updated the alarm name and help text for the "Server Antenna Lost" alarm. Policies containing this alarm are automatically updated; no action is required.
- Smart Server Antenna software versions will now appear in the Assets table on the System Details page.
Other
- Updated existing mapping features to use the latest Azure Maps engine.
- Alarm Notification pages now provide a direct link to the Site, in addition to the System.
- The "Grant Access" option on the System Page has been replaced with a new "Manage Access" page, which provides Admin users a list of the Nextivity Partner organizations that have access to the system and the option to Grant Access from this new page.
- The Radio Data page for SHIELD products has an additional Downlink Isolation metric and updated help text for these Coverage Unit measurements.
Issues Resolved:
Site Survey Related
- Addressed an issue with the Floor Pass/Fail determination in cases where a large number of Grid Test Areas on a floor were disabled, which had caused the Survey Report "General Area Result" to report an incorrect result.
- Resolved an issue causing Bandwidth values from Grid Tests taken with the COMPASS XR not to be saved when uploaded to the Portal.
- Attempting to view a Site Survey page containing no survey measurements will no longer cause the application to hang.
- Addressed a Survey Report Generation timeout issue that sometimes occurred during the PDF generation process.
Access Related
- Resolved an issue that prevented the Operator Assignment to be changed in select cases where the Site was created while using a translation feature within the browser.
- Resolved an issue causing Operator users to unexpectedly lose access to a GO G43 system in certain edge cases involving Operator Switching.
- Bulk Upload of Access Grants is limited to 1000 systems at a time. When attempting to upload more records than this, the user is now informed of the error rather than failing without feedback.
- The "Grant Access" link in the email sent when a user requests access to a system now works as expected for all system types.
SHIELD Related
- SHIELD SOLO now has the expected option to "Shut Down System" under the Options menu on the system page, which disables the amplifier but maintains the Cloud connection to allow for remote Start Up.
- Resolved an error that sometimes occurred when attempting to create a Public Safety Config File within the SHIELD Commissioning Wizard.
Other
- Fixed an error that occurred when changing the Antenna Setting to Small Cell on some QUATRA 4000- and EVO-series systems.
- GO G51 systems running SW version 18 or later will now immediately honor Lock and Unlock commands while connected to the WAVE Portal via LAN.
- Serial numbers for QUATRA HUB and QUATRA RANGE EXTENDER devices were not previously shown in the WAVE Portal, instead they always displayed a different "Unique ID" for the device. The labeled serial numbers for these devices are now shown in the Assets table on the System Details page, if the SN is available to the WAVE Portal for the particular device, otherwise the Unique ID continues to be displayed.
