To update the QUATRA 4000 and QUATRA 4000i software offline, please see instructions below:
- Download the QUATRA 4000 Software Upgrade Tool to a local PC (minimum Windows 10).
- Launch the QUATRA Software Upgrade Tool (new QUATRA 4000 Updater icon), internet connectivity is not required from this step forward.
- Connect a micro USB cable between your PC and the Network Unit USB port (right side of the NU).
- Power up the NU.
- You will see some messages on the lower left corner of the tool program window. When the blue Software Update button turns solid blue, press it to start the update process.
- Select “Yes” to force upgrading all software images.
- When programming is complete, current and latest software versions should match.
- Once the NU has been updated, update the CUs as follows:
- The CU must be plugged in to the CU1 port on the NU for power (other CU ports on the NU will not work).
- Plug the PC micro USB cable into the CU.
- Close and restart the updater tool program.
- Power up the NU to supply power to the CU you are programming.
- Wait until the update finishes and the current and latest software versions are the same.
- Do the same procedure for the remaining CUs, they must be plugged into the CU1 port on the NU.
- Power cycle or restart the NU and verify that the NU and CUs all show version -10 software.
